We are E-TERRY, a robotics start-up with a mission to advance sustainable agriculture on a large scale. As a team driven by its mission and backed by VCs, we are developing a multifunctional field robot that automates various tasks in the field. We offer farmers a companion solution to manage their fields in the most economically and ecologically optimal way.

After intensive testing of our prototypes, we now want to bring the first product to series production, which supports the farmer in ecological weed control. We are looking for a mechanical engineer or a mechanical technician (m/f/d) to support us in product development, improvement and product maintenance.

• Continuous improvement of the robot design for optimal performance and reliability based on tests and simulations
• Further development of the robot into a series product
• Development and execution of structured tests of the system
• Communication with partners and suppliers

Profile and requirements

• University degree in mechanical engineering, training as a mechanical engineer or a comparable degree with several years of professional experience in a relevant field (e.g. automotive engineering, agricultural engineering, robotics)
• German and English at least business fluent
• Ability to work in a multicultural, diverse team
• Affinity for robotics
• Hands-on mentality both in the workshop and in the field
• Required software skills: Autodesk Inventor and MS Office. Knowledge of relevant simulation software is a plus.Art der Stelle: Vollzeit
